
Isle of Man Post Office is appealing for help to solve a mystery that began almost 70 years ago.
The organisation says it’s having trouble trying to deliver a letter addressed to a survivor of HMS Edinburgh, which sank during Arctic convoy duties in World War 2.
Lucy Webster-Thompson says the Post Office is often faced with obscure addresses and relies on the knowledge of its posties to get mail where it’s supposed to be.
But she says in this case, they’ve drawn a blank – and she hopes a member of the public might be able to help:
