Isle of Man Post Office is warning there may be disruption to mail collections and deliveries during TT race week.
Road closures on race days and heavy traffic on the roads are given as the reasons.
Deliveries to homes and businesses on the TT course, where the only access is via the course, will be seriously affected on road closure days. Some mail to these addresses will be delivered the next available day.
Collections could also be affected, especially in rural areas, and final colleciton times in the towns may be earlier than normal due to road closures.
During the TT period customers affected by closures can arrange to collect their mail from their local sorting office or have it delivered to another address.
Local sorting offices will provide further information, at Douglas (698508), Ramsey (816735), Peel (844590) and Southern (823332).
