Second session out of three to be cancelled
This evening's (Tues 25th) Festival of Motorcycling practice session has been called off.
Organisers confirmed the news just after 4pm as rain, cloud and low mist was forecast for the rest of the evening, which would prevent the medical helicopters from flying.
It's the second session to not go ahead out of the three scheduled to have taken place so far, whilst last night's practice was curtailed due to red flag incident.
Tomorrow's session will run as scheduled with roads closing at 6pm
The Senior, Junior, Classic TT F1 and F2 class and Newcomers A will be on the course between 6.20 and 7.20 then from 7.25 to 8pm the Classic TT 500/350, SuperTwin Lightweight, and Newcomers B/C classes.
Roads will open no later than 9pm.
