Scheme begins for next academic year
Applications are now open for pre-school credits for the next academic year.
Eligible parents and carers will be able to apply for £3,420 through the pre-school credit scheme.
Children who turn four-years-old, between September 1 this year and August 31 2022, will be able to qualify.
Those who're eligible will receive 12 monthly payments of £285 if their child attends pre-school all-year round.
For youngsters who attend during term-time only there will be nine instalments of up to £342 with the exception of December, April and July.
In total 753 credits have been issued for the current school year.
