New facilities to ease travel stress
Private waiting areas for those flying between Ronaldsway and Liverpool John Lennon airports for medical treatment were badly needed.
That's according to Carole Male from the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
She says flight delays and lack of seating created an uncomfortable environment for patients travelling, often in pain.
The support group lobbied extensively for the creation of dedicated and quiet spaces at both airports for anyone to use, not just breast cancer patients.
