Happy landings for tired racing pigeon
There's a happy ending to the story of Percy the racing pigeon who was stranded in the Isle of Man after being blown off course by last Monday's storm.
Luckily for Percy, he was picked up and looked after by Aileen Fraser when she found him looking rather peeky close to Peel harbour.
She traced his owner to Carrick Fergus in Northern Ireland.
After speaking to Manx Radio, a private pilot heading to Belfast yesterday (5 June) in his light plane, offered to take the bird with him.
Aileen says she's relieved the pigeon has been reunited with its owner
