Speaker of House of Keys expects mixture of emotions at Friday's event
There's likely to be a more solemn mood at this Friday's proceedings on Tynwald Hill than we're used to on Tynwald Day.
That's the prediction of Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson.
A second proclamation ceremony will take place later this week to confirm King Charles III's role as Lord of Mann.
Yesterday a proclamation was read by His Excellency Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer during a ceremony at Government House - you can find out more HERE.
Mr Watterson says there will be a mixture of emotions at the event:

Island's first rapid EV charger being installed
Mooir Vannin could be first of many
'Significant investment or redevelopment' needed at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital
Braddan Commissioners open expressions of interest for TT camping at Roundhouse
