Residents and businesses voice how prom works are impacting them
Residents, business owners and politicians met last night at a drop in event to swap information and opinions about the works on Douglas promenade.
The evening was set up to find out directly from the public how the refurbishment scheme is impacting them.
Officials from government and the construction team were on hand at the Palace Hotel to provide information and answer questions.
Some were happy with the progress in communication between government and the public, others were surprised to find out more in depth details about the practicalities of the work and a few were completely unsatisfied:
