
Work starts on Monday on a £1.6million project to improve the capital's promenade.
The refurbishment scheme will bring new pavements, pedestrian crossings and flowerbeds to the area outside the Sea Terminal.
The government project is due to take 38 weeks, however, there are concerns about what travel disruption the revamp will cause.
