Overnight cleansing of site after oil spill
There's to be an overnight closure of Douglas promenade walkway, between the war memorial and Regent Street.
It's so the stretch can be cleaned, following the departure of the funfair, which had occupied the space during TT fortnight.
The closure is in place between 5pm Wednesday (14 June) and 10am Thursday, or sooner if the operation is completed before then.
The same stretch of the promenade was closed for a number of hours earlier today for DoI teams to clean up after an oil spill.
