It's after used sanitary products and animal waste have been found in recycling bins
A £2,000 promotional video will be made to show Douglas residents how to recycle properly.
The council is looking to improve education around the service after it revealed used sanitary products, medical supplies and animal waste have all been found in the recycling bins.
It's also planning to issue cards to waste management staff to post through letterboxes explaining why boxes haven't been emptied.
There is also a proposal to give residents another bin to mitigate these issues, however this decision is on hold until advice from other local authorities has been sought.
