Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says he is surprised the man who used to own land on Richmond Hill, where a new road is being built, still hasn't been paid.
At the weekend, farmer Peter Canipa staged a protest on the new road, which is undergoing a multi-million pound facelift to improve safety and drainage.
Mr Canipa says the department still hasn't paid for the land it bought through compulsory purchase after negotiations foundered, but Mr Gawne says the government has no intention of withholding any money:
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
Mountain Road closed due to snow and ice
