A prowler has been spotted in Ballafesson, Port Erin, and police are asking you to be vigilant if you live around there.
They were spotted during the early hours of yesterday morning.
Nothing was stolen during the incident, but it is clear to the police that an as-yet unknown person had been acting suspiciously around private houses.
Pc Brooks says, "The Isle of Man is a safe place to live, but from time to time incidents of this type do take place.
"If anybody sees any sort of suspicious activity, I would ask them to contact the police straight away.
"Other simple steps, such as locking all your doors and windows, and placing valuables out of sight can also be taken to reduce incidents of this kind".
If you've seen the prowler, or have any other information, call Port Erin police on 832222.
