Community's views taken into consideration
Strength of public feeling over the Old Police Station in Castletown was a significant factor in an agreement being reached over its future, according to the Director of Manx National Heritage.
This week, it was announced the Manx Museum and National Trust will take ownership of the historic building, after fears it could be sold on the open market.
The transfer is in exchange for £100,000 of charitable funds, and the proceeds of the sale of another property.
