New providers take over on Monday
Up to £30,000 may be saved by the appointment of a new transport provider for Manx hospital patients in the north west of England.
From next Monday, ComCab Liverpool will take over the service from long-time provider Bridgewater.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle insists the tender process was not primarily about saving money, but more about maintaining a quality service.
And, he says, patients should be reassured about the replacement firm.
