Alexander Drive will also close to allow DOI to work on Thursday
Two key Douglas roads are to shut overnight next week to allow for highway patching works.
Quarterbridge Road between its junction with Selborne Drive and its junction with Peel Road at the Quarterbridge roundabout; and Alexander Drive between its junction with Albany Road and its junction with Quarterbridge Road will both be shut to all vehicular traffic.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed the closures will be in place from 6.30pm on Thursday (17 April) until 8am on Friday (18 April).
Alternative routes are available via Albany Road, Selborne Drive, Tromode Road, Ballanard Road, Johnny Watterson’s Lane, Ballafletcher Road and Braddan Road.
The closure won't apply to emergency service vehicles, or any vehicles authorised by the Department of Infrastructure.
