Chief Minister insists independent recognition not on option for Island
The Chief Minister says he's disappointed by an MHK's Tynwald motion calling for the Isle of Man to have independent recognition in international law.
Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft's motion also wanted the Island to have responsibility for external negotiations, but retain its relationship with the UK.
The motion failed to gain support at this month's sitting.
