Retail director says importing products would be costly
The gap in the market for fresh bread on the Isle of Man, left behind by the closure of Ramsey Bakery, needs to be filled quickly.
That's from the managing director of Robinson's Fresh Foods, who'll be managing the distribution of bread to the Island's schools following the closure.
It's said frozen products from Ramsey will be used for the next few weeks, and work is underway to help another, as yet unnamed bakery produce a fresh, commercial loaf for distribution.
