A Ramsey commissioner says he’s ‘totally against’ his authority’s plans to try and expand the town.
Ramsey Town Commissioners wants to move its boundary into parts of Lezayre and Garff.
It’s an idea which has been strongly opposed by those two local authorities at a three-day public inquiry held this week.
Wilf Young told Manx Radio he believes it would mean more expense for Ramsey ratepayers:
The chair of the inquiry will submit his decision to the Department of Infrastructure before it’s submitted to Tynwald for consideration.
