Survey is open to all RCN members employed by Manx Care
A survey of the Royal College of Nursing members on the Island over Manx Care's latest pay offer will close at midnight.
The new offer would see staff receive an additional unconsolidated lump sum of £300 in addition to the 4 per cent already paid for 2021/22.
For 2022/23 staff are being offered a further 2 per cent increase in addition to the 4 per cent award that was applied to October 2022 salaries.
The survey is open to all RCN members employed by Manx Care. The union says it has not made any recommendation over acceptance or otherwise.
Estephanie Dunn, Regional Director for the RCN in the North-West has expressed her shock and sadness that members are still at a point where they feel so undervalued and underpaid that even the 2021/22 pay award is outstanding.
Manx Care says it remains committed to maintaining a dialogue with its staff-side but has been unable to improve its most recent offer in light of financial constraints.
