People ignoring recycling facilities
Large numbers of glass bottles dumped in bins in Castletown have been criticised by the chairman of the town's commissioners.
Alwyn Collister says doing so, when there are recycling bins right next to the ones for rubbish, is disappointing.
He says waste being taken to the incinerator costs the commissioners, and so ultimately ratepayers, more.
He says that's because of the charges at the Braddan facility:
