Offical opening ceremony of HBN
Bunting will be out for this afternoon's official opening of the Island's newest school, by minister for Education and Children Graham Cregeen.
Henry Bloom Noble primary in Douglas opened its doors to pupils last September, but the ceremony has been saved until the new year.
Proceedings will start at 2pm, when youngsters and VIPs will sing the Manx National Anthem before a welcome from Headteacher Ian Walmsley.
The school will be dedicated by the Venerable Andy Brown and Mr Cregeen will unveil a commemorative plaque.
Guests will be offered tours of the £9.4 million school complex, which boasts a range of ultra-modern indoor and outdoor facilities.
HBN as it's known, replaced two of the Island's oldest schools, nearby Ballacloan Infants and Fairfield Junior.
