
Half of the 90 staff at the Mount Murray Hotel are to be made redundant.
The announcement was made by owners this morning (Sat) as they confirmed that the rebuild of the accommodation block will take between 18 months and two years.
A devastating fire gutted 90 bedrooms at the building on the 7th of November, though fortunately there were no serious injuries.
The remainder of the hotel facilities, including function rooms and gym facilities, will open again next Wednesday (20th)
