More than 1700 contacted service in 2020
Referrals to the crisis team within the Island's mental health service increased by more than 50% last year.
1721 people contacted the Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team in 2020, up from 1144 the previous year.
More than a quarter of cases remained open for in excess of two days, meaning those individuals were in receipt of home based treatment.
A further 78 were referred from the crisis team to the psychiatric inpatient service.
