Andrew Davies runs hotel on Island of Symi
A Manxman has been doing his bit to help refugees arriving on the Greek island he calls home.
Andrew Davies has been running a hotel for the last ten years on Symi, which has a population of around 2,500.
The island is off the west coast of the Asian part of Turkey, close to Rhodes.
Mr Davies has set up a charity on Symi, which aids those landing on the island.
He says it's clear these people are escaping some desperate situations in their homelands:
Man who launched attack on van driver sentenced
RNLI's last serving Mersey class boat visits the Island
Double victory for Island's heritage railways
Demolition work to get underway on Douglas high street site
