Airport officials and the travelling public are hoping they have seen an end to the disruption and cancellations of the the past week.
Manx2.com, Flybe and Aer Arran all operated services to and from the Isle of Man pretty much as normal on Wednesday after the flight ban, imposed in the wake of the volcanic eruption in Iceland, was lifted.
