
Castletown MHK Richard Ronan is calling on authorities to repair sea walls in the town urgently before historic buildings are lost.
Half of the Chapel Lane car park extension next to the Old Grammar School was washed away by the high seas on Friday.
With the sea wall breached, the whole area is in danger of further erosion.
Richard Ronan says a debate about the whole island's sea defences is needed, but of more immediate concern is stopping the sea from encroaching further into the heart of Castletown:-
