Ivan Soulsbury calls for other individuals to follow suit
A retired entrepeneur has donated £1 million to Hospice Isle of Man.
Ivan Soulsbury says he recognised that the charity was in need of urgent funding to secure its future.
Financial results for 2022 show Hospice made a £3.16 million loss which it says is due to a perfect storm of circumstances including unmaterialized loss on investments and increases in running costs.
Mr Soulsbury is now calling for other wealthy individuals and organisations to support the charity.
2023 marks Hospice Isle of Man's 40th anniversary.
