Leroy Bonnick says the Manx system is more stringent
Returning three prisoners, with life sentences, to the Isle of Man jail gives us more control according to the acting prison governor.
It follows the highly publicised arrival of three inmates to the Island, so that any future parole will be undertaken through the Manx system.
The identities of the prisoners have not been released.
"I can give the public assurances that they'll be kept safe up there, and when the time comes for parole decision that will be done rigorously with risk assessments and everything else".
