Hearing to look at policy on those exposing organisation's illegal activity
A whistleblower, who has recently concluded legal proceedings regarding a private sector matter, is giving evidence in public to a Tynwald select committee this morning.
Rob Sutton has agreed to speak to the whistleblowing committee in the Legislative Council Chamber, from 10:30am.
Its task is to review the effectiveness of government's current policy, and relevant legislation, concerning individuals who choose to expose information or activity that is deemed illegal or unethical within an organisation.
The panel is made up of Julie Edge MHK, plus MLCs Jane Poole-Wilson and Kerry Sharpe.
Members of the public are welcome to attend, or listen to what Mr Sutton has to say via the audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
