Person selected to aid implementation
The chair of the Road Transport Licensing Committee says an inspector will be employed to help make sure new regulations for HGVs which have come into force are adhered to.
They were introduced on Saturday, following a 13-month transition period.
During that time, local operators were able to come forward and register their vehicles under much simpler terms.
