The National Sport Centre track is ready for the Commonwealth Youth Games.
That assurance was given by Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure, David Cretney in the House of Keys today (Tuesday).
Onchan MHK Peter Karran asked him to confirm whether remedial works to the track had been carried out satisfactorily, how much they had cost and whether the track would be fit for the event.
Mr Cretney said the work had been undertaken by the contractors as part of the original agreement, the cost had been split between goverment and the company and everything was ready for September:
