Joiner David Radcliffe has been elected to the one vacant seat on Rushen Commissioners.
In the by-election held yesterday he polled 173 votes.
The other two candidates, Laurence David Skelly and Clare Louise Williams, polled 115 each.
The turnout was 32.8%
