Parents in the Island are being urged to check their children's medicine, after a safety notice was issued for a range of Boots pharmacy products.
Eleven products - including cough medicines, paracetamol and Ibuprofen syrups and gripe mixture - are named in the notice issued by the Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading.
A potential manufacturing fault with the tamper seal could result in small pieces of plastic being found in the medicine.
Customers should return those products to the Boots store for a refund or replacement.
The range of medicines covered by the safety notice can be seen on the OFT's website at gov.im/oft.
