
The First Minister for Scotland has praised the Isle of Man for it's diverse economy and used the Island as an example of why Scotland should vote 'yes' in next year's independence poll.
Alex Salmond was the speaker at last night's annual Chief Minister's lecture at the Villa Marina.
Today he will see the Bunscooil and Tynwald Hill in St. John's before ending his trip.
Mr Salmond says he wants to foster closer closer links between the Isle of Man and Scotland, and that includes restablishing a direct flight service between the two countries:-
