Douglas town centre will turn red at lunchtime today (Tuesday), as over 100 competitors battle for honours in the annual Santa Dash.
They will all be raising funds for worthy causes and one of them, Ryan Fairclough, will be attempting to be first Santa home for the third consecutive year.
Isle of Man Bank has put up over £2,500 in prize money for winners in the usual categories, with a further £1,800 for finishers in pre-determined, but secret, positions.
The fastest Santas will be hoping to beat the course record of four minutes and 28 seconds, set by John Halligan in 2007.
However, the main aim, as always, is to have fun while raising money for charity.
The Santa Dash starts at 12.30pm, from the Isle of Man Bank's headquarters at the end of Athol Street.
