Helicopter landing part of local training exercise
There were dramatic scenes in Peel at the weekend, as a UK Coastguard helicopter came in to land on the Head.
But the scenes were all part of a training exercise for local emergency crews.
The Search and Rescue Dog Association (SARDA) arranged the visit for its volunteers and animals.
Navigator Ffinlo Williams says it pays to have specialist knowledge - but helicopters are only used in the most extreme cases:
