This afternoon's delayed Steam Packet sailing from Heysham is expected in Douglas at 6.45pm, about an hour later than usual.
But, after a quick turnaround, the ferry company hopes to be able to head back for Heysham at the usual time, of 7.45pm.
Tomorrow's 2.15am crossing from Heysham to Douglas is expected to operate as normal, arriving at 5.45am.
But Saturday's round trip to Birkenhead will go to Heysham instead, with passengers transferring by coach between Liverpool and Heysham, in both directions.
The Steam Packet says the destination has been changed because of high demand for freight.
The scheduled departure times are 8am from Douglas and 2pm from Heysham.
