Parents of children due to start school in September are being urged to enrol them as soon as possible.
Kids turning five in the next academic year need to be registered with a school in their catchment area by 31 January.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says it can then allocate staff and resources effectively.
To enrol, you need to contact the primary school directly for the forms.
