Charlie Hurst says he felt sad after learning not everyone has enough food
A local schoolboy has given some of his Christmas money to a not-for-profit group after discovering some Manx residents rely on food donations.
Ten-year-old Charlie Hurst also took part in a sponsored read, and his parents matched his donation, raising a total of £80 for Isle of Man Community Meals.
The project relies on public donations, and has worked to ensure those impacted by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic have enough to eat.
