Edge says teachers best placed to approach subject
Schools are taking a 'blended approach' in informing pupils about the war between Russia and Ukraine.
That's the view of the education minister who says teachers are best placed to decide how discussions around the subject in classrooms are approached.
Last week the Isle of Man Constabulary reported that some Russian residents had received 'abuse' due to the ongoing conflict in eastern Europe.
Manx Radio asked Julie Edge if any children had been targeted in this way:

'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
