Education minister confirms provision will continue
Schools which have remained open for the children of key workers will continue to open their doors during the Easter holidays.
Education minister Dr Alex Allinson made the announcement at today's daily coronavirus media briefing:
Since classes stopped at the end of the school day on Monday, just 4% of primary school pupils and less than 1% of secondary school students have continued to attend school.
The secondary schools and nine primary schools have continued to act as hubs for the children of those still required to go to work during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
