Head and deputy head were seconded to other areas of DESC a year ago
The Department of Education has confirmed the headteacher at Scoill Phurt le Moirrey will continue his additional role as acting head at Rushen Primary School in September.
Simon Murphy took on leadership of both schools a year ago, after the head and deputy head were seconded to other areas of the department.
He'll now continue in the same way when the new year starts in September to 'ensure support and stability for staff members, students and the wider community, until further notice'.
However, Suzanne Owens officially remains headteacher at Rushen.
