Trawler towed to safety after engine fire
The rescue of a local fishing boat by a Douglas Lifeboat crew, has featured on the BBC 2 series 'Saving Lives at Sea'.
The programme was aired on Thursday night as part of the latest ten part documentary series.
The two man crew aboard the 16 metre trawler had managed to extinguish an engine fire, which had left the vessel without power, around five miles south-east of Douglas.
It was safely returned to port with the help of the Douglas Lifeboat crew.
