£75K needed for Jactor scheme
Plans for a new skatepark in the south of the Island have been welcomed by residents and commissioners.
Blueprints for the Jactor Skatepark - named so in memory of local brothers Jacques and Torin Lakeman, who died in 2013 - were unveiled earlier this week.
It's hoped the local community can help make the £75,000 idea a reality.
A fundraising launch was held at the Scoill Phurt Le Moirrey at the end of last week, with demonstrations from local skaters.
