A section of the New Castletown Road (A5) will close for up to four evenings next week.
The closure for cyclical drainage works will be between Spring Valley roundabout, Douglas (at Cooil Road) and Ballacutchell Road, Santon between 6.30pm and midnight from Monday to Thursday.
The Department of Infrastructure says the work has been timed to avoid peak travel times and traffic between Douglas and Santon will be diverted via the Old Castletown Road.
