
The bus drivers’ dispute can still be resolved.
That’s the belief of a senior civil servant after further talks between leisure chiefs and drivers' reps reached an impasse.
Drivers will stage a half-day strike next Thursday in a further protest against the department of leisure’s plans to make £300,000 worth of savings on a range of terms and conditions.
Chief executive Nick Black says the department will continue to try and resolve the matter.
