Health Minister asks people to check symptoms on g'vt website first
More than 70 people have been tested for coronavirus at a mobile testing centre in Douglas.
The unit is based at the Grandstand and is only carrying out tests on those who book in via the 111 dedicated helpline.
This week the health minister David Ashford said they will aim to test a minimum of 30 different people each day.
The total of 76 yesterday, marks the first day of the unit’s operation:
Both health minister and medical director have urged members of the public to first check their symptoms on the government website before being tested.
