Longer term challenges include labour shortages
The new manager of the Isle of Man Meat Plant says a plan is currently being developed to change its fortunes after a difficult period.
Rebecca Miah was speaking on Mannin Line today, live from the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.
She says the meat plant faces difficulties around imports and labour shortages.
