It says the company should award full fare refunds
An open request has been made to the board of directors of the Steam Packet Company, asking for it to 'come to the assistance' of sidecar teams.
It's been made by the Boris Stroud outfit on Facebook following news that the class was cancelled last week by TT race organisers.
It calls for the Steam Packet to award full fare refunds to cover every sidecar team's "Primary Vehicle" ferry costs, along with the fares for sidecar drivers, passengers and (at least) two other 'team members'.
It adds it's time to get thoughts, considerations and practicable ideas onto the table.
The Steam Packet has been contacted for a comment.
